ROMEO SOZZI & PROMEMORIA - La manifattura dei sogni

On 13th. April, 2016, the book ROMEO SOZZI & PROMEMORIA - La manifattura dei sogni, published by Rizzoli, was presented at the Rizzoli bookshop in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Milan. Both the author of the book Pierre Léonforte and Romeo Sozzi were presented along with Silvia Nani and Francesco Morace.
The book tells the story of the man, the designer and the entrepreneur behind the luxurious furniture and extraordinarily refined interiors, the unique styles of which have conquered the world.
As the third generation of specialized wood craftsmen in cabinetmaking and restoration, Sozzi has run his company Promemoria together with his three sons, which has become not just a producer of internationally high-profile furnishings, but a laboratory of innovative design.
The book reveals the world and the work of Romeo Sozzi, a symbol of the refined Italian lifestyle.
It is a journey which begins at his villa on the shores of Lake Como, a classical residence which houses unique pieces of Promemoria furniture, collectable antiques and works of modern art set in a breathtaking position which never fails to delight his many guests. Pierre Léonforte takes the reader on a discovery of the places where Romeo Sozzi works and lives, a discovery of his personality and his private collections. The book also looks at some of the iconic pieces from the Promemoria collections, which have helped to forge their worldwide reputation.
